Dr. Rodis Paparodis is a Founding Member and the Treasurer of the Hellenic Endocrine Network. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Patras School of Medicine in Greece, and his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Weiss Memorial Hospital in Chicago, IL. Afterwards he worked as a researcher at the lab of Andrea Dunaif at Northwestern University in Chicago, IL, followed by his formal Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism Fellowship at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics in Madison, WI. Ever since he has published several works with his major focus being thyroid autoimmunity and differentiated thyroid cancer, and lesser foci being calcium metabolism, vitamin D disorders and lipid disorders and he serves as a member of the Editorial Board of several peer-reviewed journals. Additionally, he maintains a Private Clinic in Patras, Greece, while he carries a position of Visiting Professor at the Edward Hines Jr VA Hospital and the Loyola University Medical Center in Chicago, IL. Dr Paparodis has active participation in multiple national and international scientific societies; he is currently a regular member of the Women's Health Group of the U.S. National Lipid Association.
