Endocrinologist Anastasios Boniakos MD, PhD, is one of the founding members of HEN (Hellenic Endocrine Network). He completed his undergraduate studies and received his Medical Degree at the University of Athens Medical School, Greece, where he later completed his PhD. He then started his Specialty Training in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism in “Evaggelismos” Hospital in Athens, Greece. He has published a plethora of academic papers in accredited Greek and International Medical Journals and had been awarded by major Pharmaceutical Companies for his research. He has been running a busy private clinic in Petroupoli, Athens since 2007 and has been a member of the Committee of Individuals of the Hellenic Endocrine Society. He is currently an active member of ESE (European Society of Endocrinologists) as well as the Endocrine Society.
